This course will cover the following:
- Safety and protocols of injection therapy.
- Hands-on palpation and assessment of muscle, soft tissue and joint issues, identifying therapeutic points for injection.
- Discussion and utilization of acupuncture / ahshi (ashi) points, trigger points and other therapeutic points.
- Discussion and utilization of commonly used vitamins, minerals, nutritional substances and local analgesics.
- Discussion and utilization of ear injections.
- Discussion and utilization of intradermal injections.
- An introduction to Ozone sterilization and therapies.
- Perform and receive injections.
- Emergency use of oxygen and epinephrine.
- Information regarding the purchase of medical supplies and injectable solutions.
This course was specifically designed to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and ability to immediately utilize injectables in his/her own practice upon completion of this course.
A complimentary starter kit of injectable supplies (VALUED AT $100) will be provided, allowing participants to add this service to his/her practice immediately.
This course meets all requirements set forth by NCBHAM (formerly NCCAOM) and the Arizona Board of Acupuncture for the Acupuncture Injection Therapy (AIT) Certificate of Qualification (COQ).
